The Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organized Insolvency Summit 2017 on 29 th December, 2017 at Hotel Taj, Santacruz, Mumbai.

G. Ramaswamy, Past President- ICAI, CA Uttamprakash J. Agarwal, Past President- ICAI, CA Subodh Agarwal, Past President- ICAI, CA. Sunil Talati, Past President- ICAI, addressed more than 500 chartered accountants.
In order to promote systematic Studies / Research on topics of contemporary interest and relevance to Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code. The WIRC of the ICAI organised the “Insolvency Summit 2017” with the objective to give the professional and practical insight into insolvency and bankruptcy code to Chartered Accountants in IP practice.
The inaugural session of the summit took place on Friday, 29th December, 2017 at 10.00 am at the Taj santacruz.. Shri M.V. Chakranaraynan, Regional Director, Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mr. S. Ravi, Chairman, Bombay Stock Exchange, Mr. Ashishkumar Chauhan, Managing Director & CEO, Bombay Stock Exchange and CA. Vishnu Agarwal, Chairman – WIRC, graced the occasion as Guests of Honour. More than 500 CA members participated in this summit from Mumbai and from other parts of the Western Region.
